Mysterious Zoology

I went to the Grant museum of zoology and found the most magical specimens!
If you ever find your self in the area I highly recommend taking a look!
Here are a few of my favorites, especially the third to the last image on the left!!

Vest: 1940s knit vest with embroidered sailor people and boats.

Coat: 1950s-1960s pale powder pink with fox fur collar bought a couple of years ago
from the vintage expo in san francisco

Sweater:  Button up shell pink wool sweater with pointelles knit technique carried through out.
I added a powder blue velvet ribbon, and tied it into a bow to spice it up

Gloves: Late 1920-1940 leather gloves  powder blue with mini swan appliques and hand stitched waves

Glasses: 1960s with a pineapple battman nose bridge bought a couple of years ago in a vintage glasses shop

Tim Walker exhibit

The Tim Walker exhibit was so special!  I loved that he did special photos just for the exhibition.  I will let the photos speak for themselves.  Oh and go see it...more info here
